City to Assist Ice Rink Project On South Fourth
Supt. E A Ralston and Rodney Arnold of the American Legion post asked the city council Monday to supply water and help prepare a site for a proposed ice skating rink on South Fourth avenue. The panel approved cooperation and assigned water and street crews to level snow and flood the lot using fire hoses. The school has rented the lot from the Smouse estate for football practice and girls hockey.
