Washington County taxpayers with delinquent taxes gain eight weeks to settle bills before property is offered for sale. At 10 a.m. Monday no bids were received and County Treasurer Marion S. George adjourned the sale to Monday January 30 1933. About forty people attended. a motion to postpone won unanimous support to give delinquents more time to pay. The law allows eight week adjournment with no bids. with bids the sale proceeds. Treasurers welcomed the postponement and expect more payments before January 30.
