Layton Porter Nuptials in Chicago Unitarian Church

Charles W. Layton of this city and Miss Alice E. Porter of Chicago wed in Chicago in a Unitarian church ceremony officiated by Reverend Llyod Jenkins Jones. Layton is Omaha railroad agent. Porter runs a Chicago dressmaking establishment and will visit Washburn soon. The Times offers congratulations to the couple.

Congregational Church Announces Regular Communion Next Sunday

The Congregational Church draws members to a 10 30 morning worship with sermon and music and a special appeal for attendance. Sunday School at noon Bible study and youth groupe Christian Endeavor at 7 pm and an evening service at 7 45 on the topic Self Control as a Means to Character. A male quartet performs. Children’s church service is tonight at 7 sharp with a midweek meeting at 7 45.

Henry Stock and Lena Kelly Marry at Ashland

The couple were married yesterday afternoon at Ashland and hosted a reception at their new home on Pine Street and Fifth Avenue in Washburn. Stock is a long-time blacksmith in town, and Kelly has spent most of her life in Washburn. They will reside at their new residence.
