Judge Warden Injured in Auto Crash near Warden Farm
Judge A. M. Warden suffered severe injuries when his Ford touring car overturned on a slippery Nevers road between Washburn and the Warden farm. He was thrown from the vehicle, sustaining facial cuts and a broken collarbone, and was taken to Ashland hospital for treatment. The accident occurred as the car, driven by one of the Warden boys, skidded while en route to town.

Mono House Blast at Plant Wrecks Building
An explosion Sunday morning at Mono House No 1 of the T N X department at the DuPont plant in Barksdale wrecked the brick building tearing out both ends and damaging the roof. No deaths or injuries reported though the plant patrolman was nearby and an investigation is underway.

Government request cuts Sunday pleasure driving across states east of Mississippi

DuPont completes planned housing project along Bayfield streets
The DuPont Company progresses on a large scale housing project along east Bayfield Third and Fourth streets. They expect to finish most residences within one hundred days after starting.
