Thirty four gain U.S. citizenship in court proceeding
A special circuit court term in this city granted papers to thirty four of forty two applicants who passed the citizenship examination. Special Examiner Doe of Superior oversaw the government side. Northern Pacific Officials Visit City on Special Train
The head officials of the Northern Pacific line visited Tuesday by a two-coach special train from Iron River. G A Goodell general manager F L Newton train master P J Mungavin road master and others inspected local property and then rode the line to Iron River and back before departing for Ashland.

A Minneapolis Journal writer notes Bayfield Washburn fruit prospects with high local demand and plentiful work in orchards and farms. Also reported is the death of James Christian Nelson on West Third Street after a long rheumatic illness. he was born in Denmark in 1850 and died at sixty three. He lived in Washburn since 1885 and left a wife and four children Mike Amos Mrs Ernest Willis and Florence Nelson. The community offers sympathy in this bereavement.

Death of Mrs Stephen Musolf at Chisholm Minn
Word reached the city last Saturday of the death of Mrs. Stephen Musolf in Chisholm Minnesota after years of illness. She was wife of Stephen A. Musolf son of Mr and Mrs John Musolf of this city. The family lived in Chisholm where Mr Musolf works for Oliver Mining. She leaves three young children and her husband. Washburn friends express sympathy in the bereavement. The W C T U will meet at the Congregational church Wednesday evening September 24.

Library meeting to aid librarians in northern Wisconsin
A library meeting for Superior on September 18 to benefit librarians of northern Wisconsin will cause a library closure on September 17 18 and 19. County Fair to Close Today
Bayfield County Fair at Iron River ends after three days of exhibits and races. A special Wednesday train from eastern Bayfield County, many autos, and a large crowd highlighted the event. fruit, apples, and farm products showed aging maturity. Lenroot spoke on agriculture.
