Labor Day Celebration Brings Bayfield and Washburn Together
About eight hundred people from Washburn and Bayfield joined Harbor City for a large Labor Day event. The day included a parade with decorated cars, an address by C A Lamoreaux, a Red Cliff pow wow, running races, a Bayfield win in baseball, and an evening dance. Bayfield plans a 4th of July return visit and Washburn diarized trains, autos, and steamer trips to the festivities.
