First lecture of High School course at Opera House

Charron Gets Decision in Northwestern Fuel Suit
The Supreme court in Madison on Monday upheld a lower court ruling awarding John Charron $5000 against Northwestern Fuel company for injuries from a clam shell digger accident on the coal docks in 1907. The case, tried four times at Superior and twice by the Supreme court, began after a settlement deemed by Charron invalid. Attorney Linley of Superior defended Charron amid a heated dispute over the settlement and damages.
