Socialists Back La Follette in Wisconsin Fight
The Socialist Party of Wisconsin adopted a resolution at its state convention opposing a United States Senate candidate against Robert M. La Follette. The vote was 59 to 47 with 18 absentees. Obituary: John Guskie Passes After Two-Year Illness
John Guskie of Washington avenue road near Du Pont Park died Sunday after a two year illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Catholic church conducted by Fr Borucki. Interment followed at Calvary cemetery. He leaves a wife and eight children, the youngest a baby, with community sympathy offered.
