Iron River Bar Fight Yields Shot Arm Injury
In Iron River a drunken Tuesday brawl at a road house left John Nelson known as Coffee John with a gunshot wound to the arm. George Hughes of Superior says he fired to frighten Nelson after a fight that also involved Mrs Hughes. Nelson is hospitalized and Hughes jailed after a hearing before Judge Savage.

Barksdale officials are upgrading the road across the Barrons to Iron River and plan an eighteen mile extension across their town.
