Demars was pinned under the steering wheel with minor injuries. four passengers Ira Summerfield Floyd Morris Tom Hawkes and Herb Ross escaped with scratches and bruises. The crash is blamed on a deep road rut.

The baseball team broke up during the past week and did not play last Sunday due to dissension among members. A reorganization is expected, with plans to resume play for the season. The team had delivered solid performances and deserves financial support.
