Frank Oberts suffered a deep cut to his left thumb while feeding a jump saw at the box factory last week. Andrew Klock, son of Charles and Mrs. Klock, cut his left hand on a box factory saw two weeks ago, losing a finger. Nellie Kinney has been ill with bowels distress but shows signs of improvement. Lightning Strikes Johnson Home Injuring Child in Storm
Lester Johnson seven of Grand View was brought to the city last evening in serious condition after a lightning bolt struck the Johnson residence Sunday morning at about two. The bolt wounded all four children. Lester suffered the worst injuries and is in a precarious condition. The house was badly damaged and a fire started, burning nearly everything while the parents and other children were not awakened to escape.
