The Clarions Aid Prohibition Fund Drive at Congregational Church
The Clarions a trio entertained a fair sized audience at the Congregational church last Sunday to aid a 250 000 fund for a seven year national prohibition campaign. The program included singing and a lecture and was enjoyed by all. Norwegian Lunsetan Church Services listed for next Sunday with Sunday school at noon. The Vikings meet Wednesday evening at the church with hosting by Mrs Stock and Mrs Berge. Prayer meeting held each Friday evening. Plans for Farmers Dinner Prominent in City Club Agenda

Mrs Starr Dies After Long Illness at Home
Mrs. William Starr, 35, died yesterday morning after a twelve year bout with throat tuberculosis. She passed away while seated in her chair. Mrs. Perre, staying with her, believed she slept but found she had died when trying to rouse her. She is survived by a husband and four children. Funeral likely Saturday morning from the Catholic church.

Infant child of Mr and Mrs Bennett White dies
The infant died last Saturday at a hospital where an operation for a spinal growth was performed. Funeral services were held Monday in Ashland. Two Days in Zero Weather Rescued Elderly Man
Layrette Stowe, once a city resident now living in Plainfield, endured a brutal zero weather ordeal on the Northern Pacific line west of the city. At eighty five he wandered all Friday night and Saturday until found by section foreman Wm. McCutcheon. Frostbitten hands and feet required medical care and time to recover. He was then taken home. Also announced are new committees named by President George Moore of the Commercial Club and an agenda to boost membership and activity for the year.
