Bayfield County Vet Wounded at Chateau Thierry Returns
Edward Rosberg, son of Mr and Mrs Peter Rosberg of Washburn, returned home after serving with Company D 39th Infantry 4th Division. He was wounded in the Chateau Thierry battle, spent time in base hospitals, and was honorably discharged January 6. He has a lingering limp but expects full recovery. His unit remains encamped on the Rhine as the Peace Conference looms.

Bayfield County Board Supports Day Ratification Vote
