Marion Cudmore Pioneer Dies After Illness at 63

Mrs Marion Cudmore aged 63 of West Bayfield Street died Friday at 1 15 pm after bronchial pneumonia. She moved to Washburn 34 years ago with husband Edward Cudmore and raised four sons John Eddie Fred Ray and three daughters Mrs Edward Berry Mrs Elmer Moe and Mrs Bernard Arseneau. Funeral held at her residence with Rev Davis. burial in Woodland cemetery. Survivors include siblings George Stead and three Stead brothers in Canada and sister Mrs Elizabeth Cudmore of Seattle.

Fourteenth Year Boy Melvin P Johnson Dies

Melvin Perley Johnson aged 14 son of Mr and Mrs A P Johnson of west Pine street died last Saturday after a three month illness from inflammatory rheumatism. The funeral Tuesday from Nv Luth Church with Rev Christiansen and Woodland cemetery interment. Boy Scouts members accompanied the remains to the grave. A bright, beloved boy, his death brings deep sorrow to family and friends. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
