Detectives Cause Arrests Over Liquor Sale in Washburn
Two Chicago detectives from the Ward I Detective Agency swore out warrants for illegal liquor sales in Washburn. Ed Borgen and Conrad Wegan were bound over for May circuit court trial after testimony that liquor was sold freely at Bergen place. Mail mixup fears eased as Washburn gets catalogue influx
