In Ashland Wisconsin on a Saturday morning the Washburn Hotel burned to the ground amid twenty below zero conditions. Guests, proprietor Ed Pederson and staff fled into the cold as the laundry started the blaze. No lives lost, building valued about twenty thousand dollars with eight and a half thousand insured. Horse Runs Wild Through Bayfield Street Event

Suit Over Injury At Stearns Mill In Washburn
