Soldier Boy Answers Call Bayfield Mourns Byron Jacobson
Byron Jacobson son of Mr and Mrs J P Jacobson Bayfield County was a National Guard member stationed at Waco Texas. He died Monday after typhoid and pneumonia at the army hospital. He volunteered for service with Company B was rejected then accepted after surgery. His funeral will be held Sunday or Monday with his mother accompanying his remains. The community offers condolences.
