Invention Granted for New Lumber Cart by W A Marshall
W A Marshall of this city is granted letters patent for a lumber cart with a pivot wheel and chain. The device chains carts to track them, allowing trains of ten to twenty carts to move around corners. It halves manpower in lumber handling and could replace costly rail systems.
