Examinations for Teacher Certificates Held at Pioneer School
About thirty wrote for teacher certificates during examinations conducted at the Pioneer School by County Superintendent Miss Jessie N. Smith. Luther Bates defeats E Bryan for the first ward supervisor position by 70 votes to 41 out of 111 ballots. This ward is the only one facing opposition while all other incumbents ran unopposed for re election.
