Death in Nappanee Claims Kosciusko Farmer

Orlando t. Yeager a Kosciusko County farmer died May 12 at his parents home in Nappanee after years of illness. He was 35, survived by a wife and five children. Funeral at Stony Point Fair led by Rev. McCalley with burial at Stony Point cemetery. Memorial services at Pleasant Grove church May 26 will honor eighteen local soldiers with songs, addresses and reminiscences beginning at 1 PM.

Franklin J Block buys Jacoby farm near Milford

Franklin J Block of Defiance Ohio purchased 110 acres of the Jacoby farm about a mile southwest of Milford from Omar F Neff for 5000 dollars. The land sits across the road from the Dug Miles farm which yielded 85 bushels of shelled corn per acre last year. Block plans to occupy the farm later.

Warsaw High School graduation to be held in opera house

Warsaw High School will hold commencement next Monday at the opera house. The class of 1902 includes 20 graduates plus four post graduates. The baccalaureate service is Sunday at 11 in the Presbyterian church with Rev. L. M. Coffman delivering the sermon. Graduates listed including Lloyd A Alexander Verne V Boggs and others. four post graduates named. Reserved seat sales start Saturday at Rigdon's for 20 cent price.
