Man Released From Prison After Wrongful Conviction
John Booker of Piergeton, jailed for over a year for the Rafiter stabbing, was released after an appellate court granted a new trial finding he had no involvement. He stood in the crowd where the stabbing occurred, was intoxicated then, and knew nothing of the act. The warden praised his good conduct.
