Suicide shocks Warsaw banking figure Albion Beck
The Warsaw community mourns Albion Beck a prominent local banker who died by suicide after a period of ill health and despondency. He purchased a revolver after attempting carbolic acid and died at the Reed boarding house shortly before 6 p.m. He was about 40, survived by his wife and mother. The funeral was held Monday at his South Indiana residence led by Rev. D N Guttd of the Methodist church.

The Kosciusko county Horticultural Society met in the court house in the commissioner’s room with good attendance. President W D Alleman opened the session and urged member support to promote fruit growing and marketing. The constitution and by laws were adopted after minor changes and will be published later.
