One Man Injured In Gas Explosion In Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh March 8 A gas explosion on the second floor of a three story brick building injured one man, John Ranoski Si, who was severely burned and in serious condition. Five others were uninjured though part of a wall blew out. Firemen said Ranoski lit a match to light a gas stove and was buried under debris from a ceiling collapse.

Washington March 8 UP The Harry F Sinclair contribution of 160900 liberty bonds does not appear on Republican National Committee books treasurer William V Hodges told the senate Teapot Dome committee. Only a 2000 contribution from Sinclair in 1919 and a 1000 from Mrs H F Sinclair in 1920 are recorded. Patten testified Upham had him take 25900 Sinclair bonds and pay cash, shown as a cash contribution. Hodges noted Pratt 50000 contribution not on Upham records.
