North Warren games between the State Hospital and Nypean Furniture were affected by flooded small streams feeding the Allegheny River which stood at four feet eight inches at 11:30 AM. The river had risen since yesterday as conditions forecast by the Washington Weather Bureau called for partly cloudy cooler weather with showers this afternoon and a fair cooler Sunday for western Pennsylvania.

Transit firm seeks large charter for bus lines in 61 counties
Philadelphia June 9. Application will be made June 18 to Governor Fisher by the Pennsylvania Railroad for a charter covering operation of bus lines in 61 counties by the Penn General Transit Company.
