Kane County aviation survey cites costly airport plan
A local Chamber of Commerce survey estimates Kane would need about 15000 dollars to set up a landing field, with 5000 for grading and runways and 10000 for land purchase and lighting. Officials say Kane’s location between New York and Chicago makes it a strong aviation prospect, with Bradford already advancing plans and town leaders urging public backing.
