Nine year old girl dies after second floor fall at East Street School
Dorothy Nan Collins 9 of 409 East St Warren died at Warren General Hospital after injuring from a fall through a second floor fire escape at East Street School. She landed in a window well and suffered a fractured skull and wrist compound fracture. The accident occurred about 3 PM as she played near the escape. a passerby summoned help.

Fatal One Car Crash Claims Sugargrove Man Life
A 22yearold Sugar Grove man Donald E Brown RD 2 died when his car left Jackson Road near Miller Hill and overturned about 50 feet from the embankment. His wife Frances Pauline 22 was hospitalized in serious condition with head lacerations and possible ankle fracture. their 3yearold daughter was treated for head laceration and abrasions. Trooper Bailey and Cpl Mastrian led the investigation.
