Y Bar U Saddle Club Elects 1960 Officers

The Y Bar U Saddle Club of Warren met to elect officers for the season. Paul Henning was named president and Duane Ritter vice president with Anne Sherman as secretary and Bev Hohman assistant secretary. Ed Johnson became treasurer and Bud Sherman, Adam Beltz, Charlie Carlson and Ted Donaldson joined the board.

County Sportsmen Meet Proposes 11 Resolutions

The Warren County Council of Sportsmen convened at the Tidioute Bucktail Lodge on Thursday to vote on eleven resolutions for the Northwest Division and State Federation meetings later this month. They endorsed game and fish legislation and pure streams measures and announced a Field Day for Sunday, Sept. 18, at Pine Creek Sportsmen's Club near Grand Valley with shooting events and wildlife exhibits.
