Warren borough limits 1956 tax increase to 35000 and kills earned income levy
Warren borough council Monday limited taxes for 1956 to about 35000 while voting to drop the earned income tax. The body approved roughly 50000 in budget items including police park and street hires and street work. The meeting also considered other revenue sources and fire rate studies with committees named to address per capita and assessed valuation issues. Fireman appointments and resignations were also acted upon.
