Beaty Citizenship League picks president and runner-up
John Haer wins the Beaty Citizenship League presidency with Judith Moore as runner-up after eight candidates spoke at the junior high assembly. Other finalists included Joel Roop and Sandra Freund. In Warren, six Erie youths escaped injury when their car crashed into a bridge wall near the Glade bridge on the way to Warren. Otis E. MacDonald, 19, led the group. none were seriously hurt though two had minor injuries. Queen candidates for the 1960 Autumn Festival were photographed at halftime of the Warren Meadvill e game. Diane Anderson was later announced as queen.
