Fred Astaire show praised as top telecast with Barrie Chase
The review lauds Fred Astaire and Barrie Chase in a 1960 CBS TV showcase. It highlights a witty Miss Otis Regrets routine and a dance roundelay of Russian Spanish gypsy and Calypso numbers. The piece also covers the Witness series and a Jamestown YWCA event featuring Oscar W Nordstrom discussing Eisenhower’s People to People program.
