Pennsylvania Small Game and Bear Season Outlook 1954
Early reports from Pennsylvania show strong small game numbers but opening day weather cut hunts by 25 to 30 percent in the east while the west enjoyed ideal conditions except in Erie and Warren. Mink season runs Oct 30 to Jan 1 1955 with no daily bag limits. skunks and opossums are unlimited. Bear season expands to 12 days from Nov 15 to Nov 27 with Thanksgiving included and a roster required for five or more hunters. most bears are in northcentral counties with growing numbers elsewhere.
