Perelman essay The Changing Ways of Love draws praise for clips and wit but falters in unity and timing across three narrators John Crosby S J Perelman and Mike Wallace. Crosby shines as reviewer and host while the show’s ambition and film selection please despite uneven dramatic scenes and semantic debates over his role.
