Charter Granted for Warren County Probation Association
The Warren County Probation Association received a charter in Warren County Court House with Judge Alexander C. Flick approving the articles of incorporation. Attorney Knox Harper presented the filing as local government and civic groups pledged support. The group will work with the county commissioners, be funded by donations, hire a probation officer with possible assistants, and may acquire property. Francis Hetrick, YMCA leader, will lead the Blue Division in the Y’s annual membership drive starting November 11, with captains John Haggerty Milt Dahler Don Conaway Jr Nick Wendelboe and James Torrance assisting.
