Jaycees Retire Lead Warren Group To New Aspirations

Retiring Warren Jaycees president K Earl Abel received applause at a May 21 dinner dance after being named a national Jaycee director. Abel urged the next administration to aim for top national recognition while crediting committee heads for the chapter’s high state honors. Allen Anderson became the new Jaycee president and vowed continued excellence. Also pictured are next term cheerleaders selected from WHS students with grades noted, including Judy Moore and Regina Coppola.

South Street PTA installs new officers for 1955 56 term

Mrs. Joseph Knowlton administers the installation of Donald Johnson David Demel Mrs George Eberhardt and Clayton Rhoades as officers for the 1955 56 term. Members approve a plan to use parent safety patrols at street crossings.A testimonial dinner is set for June 1 at Grade Two fire hall for retiring teachers.

Panel Discusses Family Investigates Child Protective Services

A panel at the South Street PTA meeting featured Mike Evan the borough police chief Clare Elliott executive secretary of the Children's Aid Society and Alexander C Flick Jr president judge of Warren and Forest counties.
