Warren Joint Committee Grants New Award and Approvals

The Warren area joint committee approved a Sears Roebuck commencement award for a distinguished distributive education student. They also authorized the Dragon band to perform on Memorial Day Flag Day and Independence Day, approved a summer typing course, driver education for adults, and use of facilities by the Jaycees Kiwanis and other groups. The Dragonette staff praise, attendance totals, budget line items, and several teacher hires and contracts were reviewed, with Joseph Massa named athletic manager.
