Demi-Notes Quartet Wins Regional Contest in Syracuse
The Demi-Notes quartet of the Warren Barbershopper organization won first place in the Seneca Land Regional Quartet contest held in Syracuse New York. Members are Carl Johnson Bob Dietsch Howard Johnson and James Cruickshank. They will represent the district at the International Quartet contest in Columbus Ohio June 11 15. It is their first entry since organizing last year.

Lions Club District Governor's Rally to Meet in Warren
About 500 Lions Club members from 66 clubs across a 10 county area will invade Warren for the Lions District Governor's Rally. The Beaty cafeteria and auditorium hosts a 6 30 p m dinner and meeting with tours to Sylvania Plastics Division, Pennsylvania Electric, and Warren State Hospital. Dudley L. Simms of Charleston WV, Lions International first vice president, will speak, joined by Elbert W. Nine Warren Lions president and District 14 J governor.
