Warren YWCA directors appoint committee chairs for the centennial year. Borough council considers a 312,824 general budget with a quarter mill street lighting tax and several reductions to balance the plan awaiting final action on February 14.
The Warren council accepted Harold W. Smith’s resignation as zoning administrative officer and named George Geracimos as his successor. Spencer L. Myer was appointed to the board of adjustment until January 1958, replacing Joseph DeFrees who requested nonreappointment. Other board members are Paul Yagge and Charles Miller.
