Flood delays at Riverside Lanes and Deluxe Metal workers laid off
Flood waters surround Riverside Lanes prompting a restart of floor work on the West Side roller rink. Four Deluxe Metal employees Stuart Bloom Anthony Gorfida Bill Wei lacher and Herb Riquer were dismissed after about 45 hours at the plant. A four by twelve to fifteen foot hole was found at the rear of the brick building with six inches of water on the floor.
