Commendable county units aid flood defense effort
Warren County Civil Defense led by William Fuellhart coordinated 50 plus volunteers to fill 2000 sandbags protecting Warren General Hospital, Beaty and Warren High Schools, and the Morrison Street levy. Rescue divisions using two ducks and about two dozen boats evacuated residents while outside help from Chautauqua County Fire Service supported high water areas.
