Warren Borough Board Advances Recreational Plan Amid Budget Talks
The Warren Borough School Board gave conditional approval to a joint plan with the Recreation Board for supervising the ice rink tennis courts and Youth Canteen. A committee will refine details, with annual costs near 500 dollars for the board. State reimbursement would cut the net cost to about 970 dollars. The board also approved several supervisors for the rink and accepted a resignation of longtime treasurer Charles Frantz. A five year lease allowing county polling at five schools was approved, and state milk reimbursements for October and November were noted along with monthly bill approvals totaling 33 751 dollars.
