Gas explosion injures mother and son in Warren home
A Warren family home suffered extensive damage in a Saturday gas explosion when 14 year old John Ponsoll attempted to light a gas dryer. His mother Martha Ponsoll sustained a fractured leg while the blast injured John and shattered windows and doors. Three other Ponsoll children escaped unharmed. Authorities suspect a gas leak entered the sewer line and backflowed into the house after a prior odor was noted.
