Pennsylvania Deer and Fishing Rules Update
Pennsylvania joins many states with no fishing buttons for pleasure fishing. The 1960 license remains paper only. New rules set nine inch bass minimum, fifteen inch walleye and pickerel, panfish limit twenty five of one kind or fifty total. Deer kill expected to be lower statewide, with area figures near 1958 levels despite 16,500 antlerless licenses sold. PFIC study urges full harvest plus hunter distribution and balanced ranges, endorsing hunters' choice seasons to protect forests and deer populations.
