Proposed four mile concrete highway from Route 62 to Kiantone Road
The plan shows a 24 foot wide concrete road extending nearly four miles from the end of Route 62 north of Warren to a point 1200 feet above the Route 62 Kiantone Road intersection near Akeley. Construction is led by Thomas K Mekis firm Valencia PA with 25 percent grading done. a 124 foot arch nears completion and completion is slated for next year.
