C. of C. Enters Development Act for county program funds
Warren Area Chamber of Commerce moves to participate in the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Assistance Act. The county’s chamber would be the eligible recipient with matching funds from local governments totaling 50 percent of Warren County’s population. Funds may support surveys, planning, maps, and industrial district development. The airport committee seeks 4000 to 5000 for half the airfield repair cost as local firms raise the rest. Route 6 sustains Interstate System status with data being prepared for the Bureau of Roads in Washington.
