Fifth member of gang pleads to Pleasant two burglary
Arthur Gilliland 18 of Oil City pleaded guilty to burglary in Pleasant two after a string of offenses tied to an armed hold up of a Sherman bakery and related car thefts. Others from Titusville were jailed for thefts and a lookout role. Rich ard Elslager was arrested in Youngsville and found armed but unthreatening. The group fled into New York state and Pennsylvania during the spree.

Moon to Face Mental Examination in Slayers Case
Norman W. Moon, convicted slayer of Judge Allison D. Wade, has shown mental difficulty at the diagnostic center where he is housed. The Warren court may appoint a commission, possibly Pittsburgh psychiatrists, to assess Moon's condition before continuing his life sentence or sending him to a mental hospital for treatment.
