Canadian Players perform Chekhov and Shakespeare in Beaty auditorium
Candid photos show the Canadian Players in Beaty auditorium last Saturday presenting Chekhovs The Cherry Orchard in the afternoon and Shakespeare The Taming of the Shrew in the same program. The Cherry Orchard cast is shown in curtain moments with Petruchio in pirate attire and Kate resisting the taming at a tardy wedding, while later the shrew and groom exchange views on the ladies place at home as the company bows.
