Warren native Big Mike Shanshala plans a Purdue enrollment in a five year engineering program. He drops football this season to focus on studies but aims to play in 1958. He was Purdue freshman end last year and will stay in shape at Beaty Field as the team hinges on a defensive and offensive lineup for the September 13 opener at Corry with Luppa Mascaro McKelvy Hultman Mervine Olson Sedwick in key roles.
