Jumbo tank cars loaded for United Ref in Williamsport
Ten new jumbo tank cars leased by the Pennsylvania Railroad are loaded and ready to haul to United Refining Company's Williamsport terminal. The fleet, with over 20 000 gallon capacity each, arrived at the local refinery late July. A 140 foot, 50 ton alkylation unit tower and the $1 300 000 project are pictured as construction continues. Warren County 22-Year-Old Killed In Tuesday Night Crash
Warren County records a seventh 1960 traffic fatality and third in two weeks as 22-year-old David Leroy Wilbur died when his 1956 Oldsmobile left a gravel Ott Run road in Pleasant township striking a tree. He resided at 311 Pennsylvania Ave. E with wife Yvonne and their child. Autopsy noted cerebral injuries and skull fracture. The crash occurred late Monday night or early Tuesday, discovered around 7 a.m. by Myron Yeagle of Clarington RD.
