George Olmsted Day at Camp Olmsted Celebrated by Scouts
More than two hundred Scouts, scouters, and friends gathered at Camp Olmsted on Saturday July 30 for a day of competitions and a campfire ceremony. Byron Knapp and Clair H Gardner gave a history of the camp and Mrs George Olmsted, widow of the founder, attended and spoke. An accompanying photo shows Mrs Olmsted and descendants among others at the event.
