A sequence of local events lists barbershop minstrel shows dances and socials at Beaty school and YWCA, spring concerts and theater at Warren High and Beaty auditorium, plus civic events such as the Lions Club district meeting and the Boy Scout County Fair. Also noted are dinners concerts shows and a slide festival with venues including Woman's Club YWCA Beaty auditorium and War Memorial Field.

Marconi Bridge Club Scores Storm Jamestown Field

The Marconi Bridge Club held eleven tables with players averaging 108. Top North-South teams included Mrs Marian Thompson with R H Larsen 143 and M A Kornreich with Joseph A Scalise 122. East-West leaders were Dr James Suess with James R Valone 135 and Mrs Shuri Glass with Anthony J Scalise 131-1/2. The monthly Master Point Games return next Monday night.
